How does AMBici work
The AMBici service works for 21 hours, from 5 in the morning to 2 at night, every day of the year.
REGISTRATION
Registration is free. You can register from this website or with the AMBici app, which you’ll be using when you travel. You can register with your tmb.cat user (recommended!) or create a new account. Choose the price, download the AMBici app (if you haven’t already), and start cycling. Register now on our website or in our app AMBici.
PLAN YOUR JOURNEY
Open the AMBici app to search for the nearest stations and check the availability of bicycles and parking places on the map and on the search engine.
RENT A BIKE
Open the your AMBici app scan the QR code sticked on the bicycle and its padlock will automatically open.
RETURN THE BIKE
Leave the bike at the station of your choice and padlock it. Use the AMBici app to check if you've returned it correctly. It’s that easy!

AMBici subscription
40 € a year
The first 30 minutes of each AMBici bike rental cost €0.15.
After the first 30 minutes, you will pay €0.50 for each additional 30-minute period, up to a maximum of 2 hours.
After 2 hours, you will pay €5 per hour or fraction of an hour.
Use of the app is free. If you want an AMBici card, you will have to pay an additional €6.
